Midwife
Has anyone else met their midwife yet?
I met mine yesterday and I can’t honestly say I’m so happy, she is lovely!
I had a not so great experience with my last pregnancy, never saw the same person twice and it was basically just all over the show, never knew who to contact or anything!
This time I can honestly say she must be one of the most helpful people I have met so far! Gave me her personal mobile number rather than just a standard number to ring!

I met mine this morning, she's absolutely lovely. With my last pregnancy my midwife was really snotty with me about my being overweight (like obviously I'm aware I'm fat you silly bint), constantly pointing it out and making me feel super self conscious. I still struggle with my weight (due to medication mostly) but my midwife this time didn't even mention it other than when she had to. It was a refreshing change actually 😊
I’ve spoken to mine on the phone and have appointment on 3rd Sept. Had to push the appointment back as we are away on holiday next wk
I did she’s the same lady I had with my last pregnancy and birth so I’m stoked to see a familiar face
