best birth control?
im 2 weeks post partum but i wanted to know what everyone likes best for birth control? i obviously wasn’t on it before but i have 3 under 3 and definitely don’t want any more right now. i haven’t loved birth control in the past w depression symptoms and weight gain (i had birth control pills YEARS ago but wasn’t great at being consistent with taking them and then after my last pregnancy i did the depo shot twice but HATED it)

I second the nexplanon. Had it for 8 years
I had nexplanon once and my body reacted badly to it and I bled for month straight and had to get it removed.. I used to use the patch which was a weekly thing, only downfall is the stickiness of it... when I go in I want to inquire about an iud or something
I did the birth control injections a year ago it does have the side effect of weight gain but it wasn’t like a lot of weight .
I used the nexplanon prior to my first and in between my oldest and second baby. I thought it was a good experience but did feel I gained weight with it. I plan on going iud this time around.
