Consultant led
I have my first consultant appointment, I will be 32 weeks 3 days I’m just wondering what to expect from this? Will it be mainly birth options etc

I'm under an consultant due to baby having club foot and I had chemo when I was 18months old and it could affect my heart. These normally happen after a scan. Still have my midwife appointments as well.

Depends on why you’re consultant led and what trust. I was for low BMI and mental health for both my first and now my October baby (Staffordshire trust)For my first the first few were just like midwife appointments check your wee check pb and oxygen listen to baby and review your scan if you had one. I think at 36 weeks my consultant made a plan for induction if I needed it and went over my risk factors to approve the midwife lead unit over L&D if I had spontaneous labor. If you are there for something serious like GD, eclampsia, or an issue with baby that needs proper monitoring and possible early delivery it is possible that your consultant will go over those options at a 32 week appointment.
