help please
I’ve recently just moved house and told the DVLA to change my address on my provisional license and they told me to send the old one back. Do i need to send the old one back before the new one arrives, it’s only a provisional that i use for my ID so should i send it back now or wait?

They said that to me but still sent the new one straight away, before receiving the old one. I kept the old one until I got the new one because I had to use it for a couple of events for ID and it didn’t affect how quick I got the new one
@Jax ah thank you, i’m going out this weekend for my moms birthday and i don’t want to be without ID

They won't issue you an new one until uve sent the old one back they won't allow you to have 2 at a time this is for both provisional and full drivers licenses. So the quicker you send it in the quicker ull get your new one
