Maternity leave question!
Hii! So I worked right up until my delivery day August 13.
My boss said he can’t issue an ROE until my last day of work. So on august 13, he issued the ROE and I applied for Parental leave.
It says on the website it will be a 28 day wait for my first payment. Is this right? How can they expect me to apply on my LAST day of work then wait 28 days I have so many bills 😭 I’m stressing.

I know there is a two week unpaid period usually before your pay starts. Other than that it is pretty quick.

It probably won't take long! After the government gets the ROE the processing takes like 4-5 days and money follows 2-3 days afterwards
