Oh crap potty training book! So good

I was being pretty lax with potty training cus I was a little nervous it would be a lot 😅 but after reading the book oh crap potty training, I felt confident on what to do, and wow! It really only took three maybe four days and my son was peeing on the potty by himself even when I wasn’t around. He was scared of his poop lol so that took about a full week, but now he’s pooping in the potty too and it’s just so cool to see him be proud of himself every time he goes 🥹 If anyone is a bit intimidated by potty training like me 😅 def recommend reading that book!

I also read this book and had a similar experience with my daughter! It's a fantastic resource 😃

What signs did he show before you started? I am a little worried my girl isn’t ready and I don’t wanna rush it!

Can you do it with a toddler toilet seat or is a separate potty recommended?

@Ashley I don’t really believe much in signs of readiness tbh. I think they’re ready when WE are ready to commit to it. I put it off for a while but finally decided to fully dive in and I’m really glad. But if it helps, I noticed my son was pretty uncomfortable with the diaper, and was waking up dry from naps. In the book she says that before 30 months it’s ideal. The older they get the more power struggles you experience so better to potty train before 3

@Selali she recommends a little potty for poop as the squat position helps them a lot. I think for pee it doesn’t matter. My son is happy doing both! The prize is flushing his own pee and poop haha!

I second that book, it's a fast and easy and fun read, and my little one is doing super well 💪👏
