Paying tax after maternity leave.
I was just wondering, mums who have gone back to work have you paid any tax on your wages yet? The last two months of pay (July and August) I haven’t had any tax deducted and wanted to make sure this was normal as don’t want to spend it and then have to pay it back later on.

I paid tax once I met the threshold again, was a lovely surprise.
Remember the financial year starts in April so if you've not earned over the personal allowance you won't pay tax yet.
Yes and my ex left me at the same time, it took from September -Dec for me to earn enough to pay tax after 13m no working, and was such a shock but it's totally normal..once you meet/pass the 12k threshold you'll start to pay as normal x
