Potty Training

Has anyone started or even thought of potty training yet? My due with my second baby in December and I’m contemplating potty training before the new baby comes.

You can try but most kids can’t grasp the concept until at least 24 months ( I am a preschool teacher)

We have started introducing the idea. As soon as she wakes up, I put her on the potty and celebrate when she goes.. If I notice her starting to make “the face” I rush her to it and she uses it. A couple times now she has gone and lifted the lid of the potty when she had to go and she went 😁 I’m not putting any pressure on her or us to rush it, but for now, just focusing on familiarizing.

Yes if they are potty trained by 3 years old you are golden 👌🏼

Girl I barely have my 4 year old potty trained 100% and he starts school in 2 weeks lol

I’ve been letting my little girl (1 year) watch mommy use the potty. She knows how to say, “pee pee in potty” So I’ll probably get her own little potty within the next few months since it seems like she understands the concept a little.

I've been doing ec since 6 months, now she's partially potty trained. She doesn't have motor skillsyet to manipulate her undies, but once we are there she will be daytime trained. Night time....ha I haven't even thought of night training till she sleeps thru

I was wanting to start around 18-20 months. I wanted to start off by not taking it super seriously and just getting my son used to the idea of sitting on the potty. I won’t rush him, but rather give him plenty of time to get comfortable with it.
