Also consider being a contractor for companies and doing it as your own business (no additional costs required). With the economy the way it is, so many businesses are contracting out rather than hiring employees as it’s more cost efficient for them. And you’d make more. 😊

How do you go about being a contractor and contacting them though? I’ve reached out to companies and they say you need to wait for an opening.

@Preeti it depends on your skill set. I'd say networking is your best gateway to doing contract work with law firms.

@Preeti I’m a Virtual Assistant so as a contractor doing various tasks I find clients who need someone temporarily or on a minor scale, sometimes just 5-10 hours a month. Some companies only hire employees but that’s been shifting and we’re seeing a lot more companies bringing on experts who don’t want to be an employee anyway. I have clients who have very few employees and a bunch of contractors
