It’s Back-To-School…How About You?

We just returned to school in my town and it’s a beautiful sight to see everyone in our community come together once again at the bus stop. Yesterday I wished a group of youth socializing a great first day of school and they replied…I am pretty sure they were middle school. My observation with high schoolers can be a bit more into their phones and maybe less social at the bus stop. Primary school students and their parents are always talking and playing. Does age make that much of a difference? If you have teenagers take a moment to really tune in…I know you already are but really, really tune in as what they see, hear, read and ultimately may believe on their phones may change their attitudes more than you know. Enjoy these times and no matter how you parent never be afraid to continue to play with you kids no matter how old they are. Sometimes things the difference between taking life too seriously versus taking a moment to enjoy the moment. More enjoying the moment please…but maybe this is just me. What say you?
