6 weeks 90% is standard, sounds like your employer doesn't offer occupational maternity pay.
@Charley oh really! I used to work in the nhs which has always been known for ‘ better’ maternity pay/ pensions etc so maybe I’m just shocked at 90% for 6 weeks, honestly you realise a lot when you get pregnant 😂😂
Yep statutory maternity pay is 6 weeks at 90% of your usual salary, followed by £183? (I think, there abouts)

Anything self employed... selling things online, tutoring, deliveroo or any sort of delivery service like that is often self employed. I'm a teacher which I think is the literal worst maternity pay ever (only 5 weeks full pay) so I'm.gping to be tutoring once I feel able!
