Struggling

I have a 15 month old daughter who likes to explore and touch things. I currently live with my family because of baby daddy issues that resulted in me moving back with them. They said I should be strict with her and that I should put her in the play pen so she's not running around. We sleep in the living room, so she has a lot of freedom. I want to raise her differently than how my mom raised me, but I'm at my wits end. I take care of her by myself. I don't get help from anyone. I feel like my baby is just being a baby and that they are overreacting, but I don't know. Does anyone have any displine advice that I can use so she's not touching everything.

my son is 5yrs and he still touches everything! We suspect he has adhd but your little one is still so young. Exploring and touching things is part of development. Does she have a variety of toys to play with? Maybe that will be more enticing than touching things she shouldn’t. That’s all I can think of. Hugs!
