Potty training yet?

Hey everyone I was if anyone else has started potty training yet? My girl had hand, foot and mouth which gave her spots on her places like her bum so we decided to put a towel down and sleep with no nappy… I was surprised to see she didn’t wee the bed and used the potty in the morning. Seeing how she would do with potty training, It’s been like three weeks of this and she’s starting to go potty by herself or have a nappy just going out. I was wondering if anyone else has started and/or to let people know that our babies are all different but so intelligent. I’ve been so nervous to actually do the potty training but yeah.

I haven’t started yet but we’ve started getting used to just sitting on it for now so she’s used to sitting on it without any pressure yet. She surprised my earlier by appearing in the bathroom when I was on the toilet and she had her carry potty with her and sat on it so she obviously knows what it’s for 😂

Clever girl! This is so encouraging. I've got a potty and have it in sight to get my boy used to it but we aren't quite ready just yet.

We have but not on purpose. My daughter copies her older sis and has been using the toilet for poo’s for the past few months. Everytime she needs to go for a poo she runs to me and says poopoo so I take her. However I’m not forcing her to start fully and will once I think she is ready.

We’ve got a potty and she sits on it. She really loves it! We’re just getting her used to it for now, but a couple of days ago she asked for it and did a wee! We don’t have any structure for it yet though. We’re just winging it

Yes! I started about a week ago! She had been pooping in the toilet for quite a few months and so felt she was ready. Indoors she’s really good it’s just going out that gets a bit stressful.

@Nicky my girl is good in the house but I’ve not been confident to do it outside and it’s been no pressure on her too tbh, my LO has little knickers but she doesn’t know how to take them off and wee so just wees through lol

Yeah outdoors gets a bit more tricky. I have a travelling potty and every hour I basically ask her if she needs to go and put her on the potty. My LO I don’t think can pull her knickers straight down either so I do it for her.
