So I'm close with my manager and a couple of colleagues. I told them straight away. Everyone else in my team will be finding out once I've hit the 12 week mark. I just told each person in a teams call that i wanted to know. X

I'm not close with anyone at work so I'll tell my HR team at around 16 weeks and if I can hide it from my manager that long, I'll tell her then too.

I got back and a week later I told them I was pregnant by email. Sent a happy email what can they say right! Before being a worker I am a wife and a mother

I’m not close with anyone at work and my manager was un supportive when I went through a pregnancy loss earlier this year so I’m going to hold off until 12 weeks if I can get away with booking flexi time for maternity appointments etc. I also have a very low risk job with no lifting etc so feel comfortable not telling work yet. I think it’s a completely personal decision, if it feels right to tell work sooner then go for it ☺️

I told my manager in person last time but you could also email / go via a HR department if you feel more comfortable

With my first one I told my boss pretty much straight away. This time around I’m a bit reluctant, as I’ve only been back since May, so I feel bad announcing another pregnancy!🫣

With my first pregnancy, I told them straight away (around 6 weeks), this was useful as unfortunately, we had a loss so they understood when I was off for scans/treatment, etc. Second, we decided not to say anything and had another loss. My third I had just started a new job so waiting until I was around 20 weeks. I’ve just started another new job and am nearly 7 weeks. Going to wait until I start showing more and it becomes obvious! The sooner you tell them, the sooner you can get a risk assessment in place 😊 completely your choice - with my previous jobs, I had to tell them by 25 weeks.
