Potty training
Looking for advice/tips for potty training my little girl, she’s 22 months and knows how to say/ask for potty and sit on it but doesn’t actually go toilet, she tells me when she’s pooped or sometimes takes her nappy off if pooped so how do I make her understand to go on the potty before actually going?

My little boy is the same. He will sit on the potty or toilet but won't do anything on it 🫤
Sounds like they aren’t ready.
@Lisa but if she’s doesn’t get taught to understand then she’ll never be ready
@Kaylie nope. It’s a much quicker and easier process if they are older and 100% ready. My daughter trained herself in 3 days, no accidents after that, and I barely did a thing.

I’d recommend the ‘oh crap potty training’ book. Can be found on amazon. Worked really well for my boy
