Potty Success!

So proud of of my daughter. It’s so late and I was frustrated and tired. She keeps telling me and signaling to me that she has to poop. But every time I let her sit on the potty nothing happens. I knew she wasn’t going to sleep with the discomfort so it was a battle because she’ll hold it. I finally put my frustrations away and every time I notice she was trying to hold it in I’ll hold her hand and tell her it’s okay. Sooner or later out comes the big 💩. I’m proud 🥹

How long do you wait to take your child to the bathroom like in the mornings and in the afternoon?

I'm asking cuz my 2 year old daughter used her potty 1 time... And I've been having her to sit on the potty to pee in it.... She hasn't done anything ever since that 1 time...

@Adrienne honestly I’ve given up on the process and would wait for her to do her business in her pull up. This time she was holding it and didn’t seem to want to do it on her diaper. Sometimes if I take her to the bathroom she’ll release in her pull-up. But she didn’t want to do that either. So I just sat her in her potty and waited about 10 mins ( could be longer I wasn’t keep track, I was exhausted lol)

@Adrienne same thing happened to me which is why I gave up on it. I figured it wasn’t her time

@Adrienne pretty much. I’m sure there’s a better method but I don’t pressure her. I bought stickers for when she does use the potty.
