My daughter is 10 months old and i put her on the potty about 30 mins after every meal and straight after any nap for about 10 minutes each sitting. I try and make it fun like with some games or toys . It hard and a lond progress :) she hasn’t done anything in the potty yet so still waiting lol its been 2 weeks now

Why so early?

I heard people start from 6 months or even younger. It mainly want her to get her used to the idea of using the potty. I don’t do it religiously everyday but would be nice if she is out of nappies not so late

I let my little girl walk around without a nappy on with the potty close by. Asked her often if she needs wee wees and showed her how to sit on the potty. She’s 19 months now and uses the potty when we’re home all day, I’m yet to introduce pants into the equation though so I have a naked baby most of the time when we’re home 😂 but she poo’s and wee’s in there unprompted now she just takes herself over and does her business. At the start we did have quite a few accidents but once it clicked she was off a running. We have a lot of celebration when she uses it and whoever is home acknowledges what she’s done and tells her good job, we then empty it in the toilet, wipe, wash hands and put the potty back so it’s all a process that she knows now and likes to be a part of.

No reason to rush it. I personally would wait
