Does your baby cry when handed to someone not the same race as you?

So I'm black and have a few white friends. Father is also white Irish but we separated not long after I was pregnant due to different views. Anyway, she only scream crys when handed to him and even if he talks to her. At first I thought maybe just men but she's fine with my brother and my neighbour...so I'm genuinely thinking is it because he is white and he hasn't been around as much. I have some white friends but don't see them as much as they live further out to me. The baby groups I go to are predominantly a black mix due to the area I live in...so, could it be race? Or is it just him? I will say my other neighbour is white and she seemed okay with him, and didn't scream when he talked to her the other day. I just don't know! She's 4 months for context.

It could be cuase she doesn't know him well

I have heard people mention before that their babies tend to cry when a certain colour person is holding them but there are other factors . For example, My baby sometimes cries for men (not all and she loves her daddy) but I’m thinking is it beards that’s scaring her lol

I feel like my baby had the same issues honestly. My fiancé and I are both white and sometimes my sisters boyfriend comes over when she comes to visit and he’s a darker skin Mexican and my baby freaks tf when he so much as looks at her. And I’ve noticed this trend with darker skin men. However, dark skin women…. She LOVES. we went to her dr appointment the other day and the nurse was African American and she pulled to her… out of my arms. Same thing at the bank. I don’t get it.

It would have to be some type of change like facial hair , hats or glasses

My baby cries when a bold man wanted to hold her. She never seen a bold man before. After a little while she got used to him and was happy.

I do t think it’s a race thing babies can sense good/genuine ppl and they can sense negative ppl too just like dogs so we may think a person is cool but babies and dogs can sense things that we can’t
