The pill to stop periods

I remember years ago we could go to the doctors to get pills we could take to stop our periods, I’m going away on holiday soon and has anyone ever been to the doctor recently for this??? I know I can get them online(if I’m approved for it) but I would have to pay, so if I can get them from the doctors for free it’s a win win 🤣🤣

Yeah you can just request from the dr. But you might be able to get at the chemist now always worth trying. Its called norethisterone xx

@Stephanie brilliant, thank you hun! Xxx

No problem l, hopefully it works it didn’t for me 🫣 but I’m just broken when it comes to periods 🤣xx

You can get these from pharmacies, it’s called Hana and it’s just the same as the mini pills you get off the GP. If you look at their website they have the list of suitability questions that the pharmacist will ask you to make sure they are safe for you. But you also won’t have any issues getting them from a GP.
