Is this teething

Lately, I've noticed that my baby has been frequently putting his hand into his mouth and drooling a lot. I'm not entirely sure if it's a sign of teething or if his first teeth are on their way. I'm considering purchasing some teething toys to help soothe his discomfort.

My son does this too, everyone ive talked to about it say its teething or teeth moving around to get ready to come thru

My daughter started doing this when she was almost 3 months, the hands in her mouth, drooling etc and also biting our hand. And last week (almost 4 months)she got two teeth. We didn't know, not she got any fever she was just moody for a few days. Good to check the gums and get some nice toys for teething.

I think this is also a developmental stage where everything goes into the list to learn about the world! All in good steps towards weaning eeek!

It’s a developmental stage. It’s a good thing. But definitely could also be teeth. My baby has been doing this since he was about 2 months old and he got 1 tooth at almost 4 months.

2-3 months is when drooling is expected to start and right around when discovering hands is developmentally appropriate! Could be teething if there’s some obvious discomfort?
