Birth control

Hi I started the mini pill (progesterone only) birth control bill ab two and a half weeks ago. I’m 8 almost 9 weeks pp. It has made me break out soooo bad. Do any other mamas take this? Have you experienced this and does it go away? I’m thinking of just using condoms for contraception if it doesn’t get better bc it’s bad cystic acne.

I react badly to progesterone only contraception. Break outs and 10 day periods. There are others though.

I didn’t have breakouts but I kept bleeding throughout the entire pack it made me miserable 🥲🥲 I’m now on the combined pill and it’s sm better for me xx

@Olivia B I EBF for 6 months, now baby is 7.5 months and formula fed.. I’m on Femodene which is the pill I took for 10 years before having my baby girl. There is contradictory information about taking the combined pill while breastfeeding, some people say it’s fine if you are past the first 6 weeks pp as BF should be established but others say it can impact ur milk supply so I only started it again when we switched to formula xx
