Feeling awful

We're potty training. I was on the phone with my husband talking about finances (I'm off work while we're trying to figure out childcare. Daycare tour this afternoon 🤞). My son was eating breakfast and then kept saying mama and a word I couldn't figure out. I thought he was saying cold. The a/c is on because its still to hot during the day for our husky. By the time I realised he was saying go, he started peeing all over our baby girl (husky and she loves laying under the high chair). She hates rain and is looking at me like I'm the worst person in the world. This is the first time my son has told me he had to go potty and I missed it.

Don't beat yourself up, accidents happen. Now you know and can hopefully act quickly enough to avoid another accident. If not, it's okay. It's not worth getting upset over accidents. It's pressure on you both that takes all the fun out of potty training 🤣 I laugh because milestones aren't always easy, but having a sense of humor will help you get passed the reality of unfortunate accidents. 🤷 Outside of inevitable accidents, you can try to make it fun with books. Watching potty videos with their favorite characters. The magnetic potty chart with dinosaurs etc. Good luck!

Mistakes happen, husky are sassy. I have one as well, and she hates the rain also. It must be a husky thing 😂. It could of been worse 😅 I'm sure your dog will forgive you and your kiddo.

Aww mama 🤗 give them both (your pup and your kid) a big hug. When I’m busy/in stress, I tend to disregard what my son says, especially since he is very chatty and it’s hard to pay attention to every little thing.
