Delaying period with the pill
We are going on holiday september and wanted to start trying for a baby when we come back. I suffer with very painful & heavy periods so wanted to take the pill to delay my period until i come back from holiday. Nervous about how long it could mess up cycle afterwards, has anyone been in this situation before & can advise if it impacted their cycle?

I’ve used it for holidays a few times never had any issues. Usually back to a normal cycle the month after
I've done this every year for the past 5 years. I was prescribed levest worked great for me. 30 days on the tablet 1 week break (then start your next box you get a 3 month supply but if you are only after it a short time sure they can just do one box). It worked great for me no complications while taking it and periods back to normal straight away. We got pregnant within 6 months of coming off the pill xx

Are you already on the pill and take a week break to have a withdrawal bleed? If so - yes you can take the pills back to back and it won’t affect anything but it isn’t recommended long term (3 months+)
