Swim nappies now potty trained?

Going on holiday next month with our now potty trained toddler (will be about 3 months in by the time we go). Will he still need a swim nappy? The disposables or happy nappy?

In EXACTLY the same position, with going away and potty training. I think I’m going to take a pack as a safety precaution, purely because if they need a poo, and are distracted in the pool I wouldn’t want them caught short. Obviously at home, she gets out the paddling pool and uses the potty but I just thing while away it could be slightly different

Most places like you to use some form of ‘protection’ from accidents until they are about 4 x

I still use his happy nappy cover without a swim nappy for swimming lessons, just in case. He has gotten out for the toilet fine many times but it’s my anxiety 😂 I didn’t use disposables, we had a reusable swim nappy as well as the we cover as required by the teacher but dropped the nappy after training

I was in this position but I thought ...id want to know that there is no risk to floating poo particals floating around the pool that could cause Illness.... X

I ditched the swim nappy. It only holds in poo and he tells me when swimming if he needs a wee or a poo anyway. So didn’t see the point anymore. Haven’t had any issues even when abroad and we spent most of the day in the pool!

Thanks all! Do the disposable (Huggies little swimmers) hold poo? Even for a short period? I’m just considering as a back-up incase he’s caught short!
