Birth control

I want to go on birth control as soon as I have this baby cuz if I get pregnant again ima genuinely have to get put in a mental hospital! The problem is I want to start my weight loss journey when I have the baby since having 2 kids back 2 back has completely changed me. My concern is losing weight on birth control I’ve Hurd it’s hard to do so on birth control? Any good birth control that anyone can recommend? The only one that’s worked for me was the arm implant I’ve tried all except the IUD what should I do I desperately want to lose weight when I have this baby 😭

I don't have any advice on which one to go on if you're looking to lose weight but I do know if you're planning to breastfeed/pump at all be careful at which one you use! I started the patch and it almost made my milk dry up so I stopped using it

Nuvaring

Lolo estrogen ask for the one with lower levels( it’s still high as affective )

I was on the depo in the uk I had injections in my bottom every 3 months and I have pcos and I managed to loose good weight I was literally in my prime before having my son so it is possible but you have to have a clean diet and gym or walk walking is great for weight loss and if you want to tone it stairmaster is great also at the gym and muscle workouts as that burns the most weight take it easy on yourself and don’t be too harsh you birthed beautiful babies be proud

i’d be pissed tf off too. my doc offered a post delivery hormonal IUD as the best option. I’ll lyk how it goes bc i’m 38 weeks atp!

Everyone reacts differently to different birth control so what works for some might not work for you, realistically the only one that wouldn't affect you would be the copper coil as that has no hormones so doesn't effect your hormones particularly ghrelin levels (what makes you hungry) you don't actually gain weight from the birth control itself it just affects how hungry you are which makes people overeat and gain weight. If you go on the copper coil too you don't have to remember to take anything and it lasts 5 years xx

copper iud, no hormones, wont affect your weightloss journey

I’m on birth control on my weight loss journey now and I have dropped 21 pounds in 1 months and 1 week

@Elise I tried the depo before and it made me SOOO hungry 😭😭

@Reahanna omg girl put me on!!! I’m trying to loose 60-80 pounds not just to look better but to feel better too😢
