Is anybody considering potty training soon or have already started?

We are having baby number 2 at the end of November, so as I'll be off work I am thinking of just having a potty out downstairs. Nothing too over whelming as she's just started nursery too, so I'm like is that a lot all at once! But no harm in it being there as an option! X

I'm.thinking of doing it soon with M boy who's 18 months old. He always takes his "willy" out of his nappy. He only pees if his nappy is off. So might try it x

We’ve been sitting my girl on the potty when she’s about to go (letting her run naked) for about 2 months and now she just goes to it herself, gets excited to pour the wee or poo into the toilet, wipe flush and wash her hands. If she’s in her nappy she’ll just do what she needs to do so that’ll be our next task for her to let us know. I think maybe get one and just keep it real casual for a few weeks, running around naked around bath time and quickly get them on it when they start to go, they will quickly grasp the idea 😊I think it’s so handy to get them linking the idea now

I have been thinking about pottu training alot the last few weeks and I would like to try and see but I have no idea where to start. My son drinks so much water during the day so he's literally a pee machine 🤣

We have started with our little girl, she gets quite annoyed with her nappy and grabs at it when she needs a wee. We’ve had two successful potty attempts.. and many accidents. But we’re taking quite a relaxed approach, ready books, talking about the toilet, and letting her know when we got to the toilet etc. Her potty makes flushing noises when she presses the button, and she really enjoys that party haha!
