KIT days - paid by the hour?

Are there any rules about how they pay you? Can they just pay by the hour or does it have to be a solid day?

At least in my role any amount of work counted as a whole days pay. So I logged on for a few zoom meetings and got the full pay. I'm salaried though so I don't have an hourly rate. https://maternityaction.org.uk/advice/keeping-in-touch-days/

My company pay by the hour but you lose the full day so if I did 4 hours I'd get paid for 4 hours but it would count as 1 of my 10 kit days the same as an 8hr day would. It's normally listed in the company policy

Should say I'm also a salaried colleague but for kit days I'm hourly. Which tbf has worked in my favour because the work I do involves some long days and some short but my contract would average them out so at least I've been paid for what I've actually worked and not done say a 9hr day but only been paid for 7.5hrs as per my contract

I'm salaried and I have been going in for 6 hours a week & I'll get paid for 6 hours 🙃

I am salaried but kit days they docked hours if I wasn’t there for my full day🙃🙃🙃

I’m salaried and get paid the full day regardless of the number of hours I actually work
