These are an example of some names i like Kove Leilani Fiadh Saylor Emryn Coco Some names he likes Iris Penelope Maddie Isabelle Nora As u can see we differ quite drastically 🤣 how do we find a common ground? I dont want one of mine for first and one of his for middle and vice versa. The 2 styles are too clashing. Im looking for a genuine middle ground. Not as "safe" and mainstream as his and not as "out there" as mine. The best of both worlds if u like

We ended up with the one person gets the first name while the other gets the middle. Hopefully you have better luck than I did I even tried to compromise & come up with nicknames for me to use with his longer names but he didn't like then at time. Of course now he's more willing but I'm not down for changing our son's name over a year later. We ended up with Kade Danger

My husband and I were the same! Idk if this is what you want to hear but I believe you have to find a name that fits both your needs. What I would do is go through TikToks of baby names together and see what you both like together. Also really helps practicing calling out the names to see if you really like them or not.
