Potty training

Mines not even walking yet let alone toilet training 🤣

I don’t think we’re ready yet 😄 I can’t tell the signs when it’s happening, but not about to happen 😅

How did you know when to start im a ftm no idea wat im doing

Good on you Belle and baby We are NOT potty training yet. I feel like we have so many other things going on I might have a stroke if I introduce another thing 😂

When are you meant to potty train I thought it we were far off thinking about that 😂

I read about Elimination Communication when baby was born. I liked the concept but I thought it’s too full on to do in Western culture. But we started doing it part time since she was 6 months old. She tells us now when she needs the potty and half the time takes herself there and sits on it. She doesn’t know how to pull her pants down obviously so we do it for her. We sit her on the potty after she wakes, after meals, and whenever she tells us. Often we read books or stack while she’s on there. We’re not too strict about it but it’s been really interesting and rewarding! I hope it translates into easier toilet training which we will do when we notice that she goes herself more consistently or has drier nappies in the mornings

I decided to start as 90% of the time after the bath she would pee..so I was like ill just get one and try..just thought she would sit on it and play she did she the first 2 times didn't do anything.. and then the last 2 nights she actually peed on it.. I was in shock she actually did it I must have got the right timing haha im not gonna force it just offer it to start with at bathtime and see how we go.

@Susie kenzi is my 3rd bubba my son was toliet trained by 2.5.. my older daughter was about 2. Just thought we would try at bathtimes and shes gone twice ahha
