So I decided to get on birth control, and I got it in the day after her birth, I think. Cause she was born in the afternoon, I got it in the afternoon. Cause I knew how my libido was and didn't wanna chance getting pregnant after having a baby so soon. But you know your body, so you do what's best.

had my baby march 20th and i’m currently due march 20th again

I keep trying different pills but they keep messing with my milk supply. We use condoms every time though

I got on birth control a little bit before 6 weeks postpartum😂 had a long talk with my doctor so she could give me all my options and chose one that wouldn’t affect my milk supply. 5 months in and we are pretty safe over here😂🙏🏼

I wish that was a concern. My poor husband. We haven’t had sex yet since my son was born. I’m in pelvic floor PT because it hurts so much

I got a IUD 4 months postpartum

I support everyone’s path but hate that the responsibility of not getting pregnant is all on the women. Discipline and stamina are free and not a drug or implant. My husband and I have been having sex for 13 years and we’ve always been disciplined enough to ‘disconnect’ in time, except for the one time we intended to create our daughter…and then boom I was pregnant. We can pinpoint the exact moment she was conceived. Why not ask your men to share the responsibility? ❤️

I most definitely got on the pill

I had my boy February 26 and currently due April 29th 🥲

Just an FYI: if you are 100% in not wanting to get pregnant do not solely rely on the pull out method. That’s how i ended up here 🥲

@sarah agreed, me and my husband used condoms 100% of the time but last july 4th we got drunk and the pullout method ended in my son. Always wrap it up people

That’s fair @sarah We weren’t planning on having our girl until we conceived, but getting pregnant sooner wouldn’t have bothered us. It’s not the best method for people who might have a different scenario and adamantly want to avoid pregnancy.

@Victoria i can’t believeeeee the amount of comments i see under birth control posts that say just pull out 😭 like girl what

@sarah no deadass because what do you meannn your relying on a man to not get pregnant. My husband doesn't know where his wallet is 99% of the time how cab I trust he can pull out correctly

But being real—did pulling out actually fail because he didn’t pull out, or are we really suggesting that sooooo many babies are a result of precum? It does happen but not as often as people like to make it seem. People should do whatever method works best for them. If discipline isn’t their thing in that way that’s cool. But it definitely works just as well as the implants/pills/injections if you’re committed to it. Commitment/discipline is key, but it’s not for everyone.

@Alicia I can’t speak for everyone else but i know for a fact that it wasnt an error on our end. Might be TMI but he always either finished on my chest or face so I know there wasn’t any chance of it not being precum. If that’s what you’re comfortable with that’s totally ok! But for me after this next baby I know for sure we won’t be doing that everrrr again until he gets snipped and i’m on some sort of BC or using condoms. All i’m saying if pregnancy is 100% not wanted there are other more effective ways at preventing them!

@Victoria No fr I cannot leave that chance up to a man ever again. I really wanted to be one and done and now our kids won’t even be a year apart 🙃

@Victoria 🤣

@Shayna oh my me too! I feel bad. We’ve tried but it still just hurts too much! I wish it was a concern for us also but just isn’t

I personally don’t like hormonal birth control. Too many negative side effects, short and long term. We use condoms

I want to get pregnant again around the time my baby is 9mo I think, so I decided no birth control. I had one pregnancy scare already and decided to get on the pill for a few months.

@Casey I really just don’t trust it with my medicine rn and I wanna another one mice he’s one

I honestly just tracked my periods and don’t have sex around the time I’m ovulating if I did I took a plan b but it’s hard bcuz periods haven’t regulated yet

I got the BC in arm a couple hours after birth.
