Midwife

I had my first midwife app at 6 weeks I think it all depends on when you self referred and how many women in your area that are pregnant to be booked in

@Laura I did have an early scan and spoke to early pregnancy midwife so maybe that's why I just like to be seen all the time otherwise I overthink haha

I’m 7 weeks and not heard anything either, when I first registered they said they would be in touch around 10 weeks x

It’s normally around week 6-7 😊 but will probably depend on staffing and how busy your area is! If you haven’t heard anything around then I’d probably call

I have had mine booked for middle of September so I will be 9 weeks! I got mine within 4 working days!

So I'm 5+5, did the self referral form and just heard back that my first bloods will be done on the 5th and then the midwife will call to go through the form on the 12th. At that point I will be around 9/10 weeks. X

@Emma I had to change my appointment but not had like a letter or anything to confirm change of date / time. Should I be worried?!

I wouldn't necessarily but do you have a number you can call just to verify it. Mine was done through text and then the badger app confirms the appointments. @Sophie

I have my first midwife appointment at 8+3 weeks. 1st NHS Scan booked for 12+4

I'm due in March and still haven't had my booking appt yet and I'm 9 weeks 5 days I've also had recurrent mc so strange!
