teething

how is my 7 month old supposed to act while she’s teething? she has a temperature of 100.1 but i know once they aren’t newborns that isn’t concerning anymore so i’ve given her tylenol. i definitely see a tooth wanting to come through it hasn’t fully broke skin though i don’t think. she’s sleeping a lot, she’s eating about 3.5-4 ounces every bottle instead of her normal 6, but when she does get up she is alert and still talking to me like normal she just looks like she’s still tired. i’m freaking out lol and i’m not sure if i need to get her checked or not. we had her pediatrician appointment on the 8th and they said they do see a tooth coming up so im almost certain that’s what it is but i can’t help but overthink it lol.

Tired, fussy, excessive drooling, wanting to put everything in their mouth are the main things my baby experienced. They could also be tugging at their ear cause mouth pain. You could also give them a lukewarm tub to help regulate temperature! Good luck 🤞🏽

@Jen thank you!!!

Every baby is going to react differently to teething. With my baby's first tooth he was really fussy and not eating as much during the day. He slept longer at night but fought naps and bedtime. But then with his second tooth, he seemed fine. Maybe a day or two of some discomfort. I only knew it he was getting a second tooth because I saw the little white spot on his gums. He's been teething again and we just had some days of a bit of fussing and him chewing on things more and harder. No fever with any of it. We use orajel and do a lot of gum massages which help my little guy. And teethers that were in the fridge so it's cold.

All sounds normal to me for a teething baby but momma knows best ! If you have any concern or uncertainty I would take her to get checked .. you want to know how many times I’ve brought my daughter to get checked and thankfully perfectly fine but who cares id rather be safe then sorry any day !!!!
