Feana (thinking of faeces) Rue (literally means street in French) Roux (means ginger in French) Beauregard jeans beautiful gaze in French) Beau in general makes me cringe so much. Machiavelli Mary Jane (wtf?) And so many more I just can't. I need to stay away from baby names group because I feel so mean! 🙈🤣

@Aurélie google failed me! I’d never seen that spelling before, only Margot! Haha. Ahh thank you, Maya is a gorgeous name. We recently moved to the Middle East from England and it’s made me love it even more because it’s a common south Asian/middle eastern name and has so many beautiful meanings! Like Nepal it means “love” and Hindi it means “magic” and Arabic it means “pretty women”. She always gets lots of compliments about it. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a girl for you one day ❤️

Like everything doesn’t have to be a competition for the coolest name. What happened to naming our kids John, Mary, Beth… these new moms want to name their kids Maple leaf🍁, Irish Spring ☘️ and Wolfington Fog; it’s a disservice.
Some of the name you've mentioned on here are super common in my country 😅 I know several Rasmus, Sixten and Fredrickas haha Actually Sweden owes it's women's right to vote to a Fredrika. But I can see how they'd look weird in English, especially Sixten 🤣 I think the weirdest I've seen I wouldn't be able to spell on here lmao
