What potty training method is everyone using?

I’m just wondering what approach / resources people are using for potty training. I’ve started but not sure I’m doing it right so would like some recommendations please 🥰

Letting them go pantless till they get used to and know when they need to use it then underwear

We are on day 4 of just being naked at home and having the potty in whatever room we are in. Lots of praise and rewards. When we go out it’s a dress and knickers, have only been to the supermarket (had to stop mid aisle and whip the potty out once) We have had only 1 accident, at my mums house.

I read the ‘oh crap potty training’ book and found it really helpful and realistic. Basically as above though - no bottoms until they start to make the connection. Then the book recommends bottoms but no pants (feel too similar to a nappy) for a few weeks before introducing underwear. I’m in the middle of things now with my toddler. Less overwhelming than I imagined, but I would recommend clearing the diary so that you can focus on it! Good luck!

I didn’t have a method. Took off nappy for the day so he understands when he gets wet, during accidents I explained he needs to ask for potty/toilet. Reminded him every 30 minutes to use the potty. We started initially a month ago, didn’t go well. Forgot about it for a week. Started again and now he’s fully potty trained. He goes to potty or toilet on his own when he needs it. At nursery it’s a different story. The toilet is far, they don’t use potties so he does it on himself at times because there is nowhere for him to go on his own
