It's normal for LH to rise just before period. Not as high or for as long as during ovulation, but it does happen. You can even get ewcm
@Naomi McGee will do I had some bleeding at the start of the month just not sure if it was af as it was much lighter but also never had a positive ovulation test this late in my cycle so will keep yous updated
It’s pretty strong isn’t it for day before your period.

The last time I had a positive LH strip on my period due date I got a faint positive on my pregnancy test and I don’t usually get dark lines on my LH just before my period. Which is what prompted me to test for pregnancy
