So apply on the government gateway. You'll get a code. You give that code to the provider. "30hrs" for my son at a private nursery covers 2 days (8-6pm) over the full year and we pay an extra 300+ for a third day and meal fee for the two days. A preschool the funding with cover school hours eg 9-3 during term time and you'll have to pay for breakfast/after-school club, holidays if needed.
