Boy Potty Help
Hi moms ! Im currently on day 3 of potty training my 2 1/2 yr old boy . I grew up surrounded by girls so im a little lost when it comes to boys ! I noticed my boys private areas tip is red when he goes to urinate . Am i doing something wrong ? He doesn’t speak much yet but says “ouch” , i usually wipe him down w a baby wipe after the potty. Am i cleaning him wrong?

Thank you! Am i cleaning him properly? I didnt grow up around any males so im not sure lol . I just wipe him down with a baby wipe and pat his area after with toilet paper
You’re doing more than me! I just wipe and throw him in some underwear. My son is circumcised so it may be different if your son is not. Or your son could just have more sensitive skin down there. If it doesn’t clear up maybe ask the pediatrician?

It could just be similar to a diaper rash since he may be having accidents. I’d put a little bit of cream on it. I’m a fan of the Aquaphor 3 in 1. It always clears any redness up in a day.
