Does anyone know if I can live in a council house whilst going to university?
I have one year of undergraduate study to complete and I also want to move out with my little one but I'm unsure if once I move in I won't be able to go back to university and get housing benefit at the same time.
You should be. I finished my degree at the beginning of August with my little girl and am in council housing with HB too. You shouldn't need to pay tax either for the next year. Good luck in the last year
