Started and finished if you want any tips ? X

Kind of. He follows me to the toilet and he sits on his potty. I get him to sit on it when he wakes up, whenever he follows me, before a bath and before bed. He tells me when he’s done a poo or a wee so that’s a start

@Justice Carter need the tips too please!

Nope, he’s nowhere near ready yet. I’ve only just potty trained my 3 year old and he smashed it in 3 days because he was ready. No need to rush into these things.

No actively. I’ve got the potty out and she’ll occasionally sit on it but wont use it. She sits her bears and doll on it and says ‘wee wee’ or ‘poo poo’. She likes to look in her nappy when i change it and tell me what she’s done. She’s interested but not ready yet x

@Angel I let my little girl run around naked for two weeks( until they get it) have a potty that sings to her once she has gone and got the step thing for the big toilet, got a magnetic sticker chart and a treat that every single time that she went I also put music on and danced after she had done it to show that it was a really good and happy thing, but once you take the nappy off don’t put the nappy back on because it will confuse them and think that they can wee in their pants. I put my little girl in nappies 10 minutes before she goes to bed for calming downtime and then at the second she wakes up we take it off and it’s worked for her she’s been pretty trained for nearly a month now. Only the occasional accident when we’re out when we don’t make it to the toilet in time, hope this helps x

Not yet, she pretends to do a wee on the potty and wipes her “bits” but we have a chronic constipation issue we’re finally getting under control with at the moment. Once she’s comfortable with doing poos, we’ll start introducing it.

Not training yet, but we have a potty that she sits on and usually just copies me when in the bathroom without actually using it. She did do a wee and poo in it last week which I was amazed by! I think we’ll continue with this approach until she’s fully ready to train

I cant tell if she’s ready or not, She keeps pulling her nappy and just taking it off, she can say wee and poo, we’ve started it this morning just because she kept taking her nappy off, ive got some cheap treats for every now and then stickers and a chart waiting to be delivered and we put the alexa on and when the timer goes off i make it fun and we run to the toilet, but now shes getting the hump because i keep making her try to go. what did everyone do for nap times and bed time 🥲

There’s no rush. I trained my eldest who’s now 5, at 3yrs old and it took 3 days. I’ve got the potty out, and she comes to sit on it when I go toilet and she can tell me when she’s done a poo but honestly I’m not rushing it. There’s no point, it’ll just be stress for us both 😂
