Can’t hold it.

I am 11 months pp and I don’t know if I’m the only one. Plus sorry if this is tmi. But after being healed I feel like when I have to go pew that I can’t hold it like I used to. If I have the urgency I better hurry cause a couple times where I didn’t make it and peed myself some and it’s embarrassing.anybody else?

It’s not happening to me but it did happen to my mil and other family, I think it’s normal to some degree

I have the same issue, which surprised me because I thought that only happened to women who gave birth vaginally.

Please get yourself to a pelvic floor physio who can help you sort this out. So many women putting up with this when they don’t have to. Carrying babies is murder on your pelvic floor, even if you don’t have a vaginal birth. Surgery can also cause some issues with scar tissue etc. Do some scar massage whilst you get an appointment (videos online) and then see what the physio says - they will likely prescribe you strengthening exercises. Investing in yourself now is well worth it as menopause will make it worse and you’ll likely have back pain associated with weak pelvic floor. It is fixable and you are worth it ☺️
