Transition to pulls up before potty training?

My girl is pretty much outgrowing diapers, she’s a size 6. But I don’t think she’s ready for potty training, so do I keep her in diapers for the next while until she’s ready (6-8 months from now) or do I use pull ups?

I’ve found pull-ups to not be as absorbent potty training as a teacher. But I believe diapers go up to a size 8. My girl started letting me know she is poopy and wants to be changed and shows interest in sitting on the potty so i’m working with her while keeping her in diapers at the moment! She’s in a size 6 as well.

I recommend pull ups or training pants. I usually buy the pampers training pants, but the Millie moon and Parents Choice (Walmart brand) work well too. Also, I did buy the Smart Bottoms which are reusable/washable cloth training pants. I personally didn’t like the diapers for my son when we started potty training because he would just pull them off because he knew to remove the tabs. Also the training pants get them into habit of pulling their pants down to use the potty; like they will have to do once they are in regular underwear.

Girl diapers go up to a size 8 she does not need to be in pull-ups I have 2 year old who’s 35 pounds can is still in diapers she’s not even 21/2 yet

@Avery Hyde I said same thing they go size 8

My 2 year old wears a 7, he's 40 pounds and we are no where near ready for potty. I'll get 8s if I have to.

You can always test them out. The Millie moon brand they sell at target, it was and will always be my favorite. From their diapers to their pull-ups I never used anything else and their pull-ups were so absorbent. Even at night. Though my daughter potty trained early so we didn’t use the pull-ups for long. She just turned 2 a month ago. It’s great for your LO to learn how to pull up and down to go potty if she’s interested.
