Poop on the potty..

We have an issue with poop too. My daughter will only poop in the middle of the night🥲

How did you potty train? I got my two and half year old boy done in one week. What I did for poop cause he had the same issue was left him naked because it doesn’t give an option. When I would see him start to squat a little I would run him to the potty and put a fun potty song on for him and it only took 3 times for him to be fine with pooping on the potty. He didn’t poop for a few days at the start but he was fine. He learned quickly that he didn’t want to hold it in. Best of luck mama! I know it’s not easy

We are in the exact same boat. My son is dry and in pants all day, but as soon as he needs a poo he asks for a nappy and won’t even try the potty/toilet. Feel so close yet so far away from him being out of nappies completely 🤣🥹🥹🥹

I had the same problem, he seemed scared to poop in the potty so I bought him 4 or 5 books specifically about pooping and then any time he started to do his normal queues that he had to go I would actually bring the potty to wherever he was while I read one of the books. It only took like twice doing that that he realized it wasn't scary and went to it himself.

I’m in the same boat with mine. He’s scared of pooping in the potty, it hurt the two times he did try to poop in the potty and now he’s scared it’s going to hurt every time and idk how to help him not be scared

Same!!!! My daughter has to be tech trained by September and poop has been so hard for us to catch. My LO will tell us she needs to pee before but poop unless we let her run around naked she always tells us after she does it. Whats been working somewhat for us is getting her training and regular underwear with characters she likes and when she puts them on i tell her to make sure she doesn’t potty on her friends 😂 also made a prize box that has “top tier to a toddler” prizes that she only can get if she poops on the potty! Good luck! The potty training journey is not easy!!!
