My toddler has been diaper free for 4 months now, we didn’t have accidents in the process and is right now only using diapers at night but wakes up with dry diaper every night for the last 2 months, to be honest I didn’t rush her to drop the diaper, I just let follow her signs when she was ready. She stopped using diapers when she was 26 months old. If that doesn’t work for you and you need baby to stop with the diaper I would say start by ready books and taking them to the bathroom every time you have to go. Let them seat in the potty even with a diaper on and then 3 days after take it out and go every 5-10 mins with them and celebrate it when they seat. How old is your baby ?

I’ve been putting a long t-shirt on my daughter and let her walk around with no pull up on or underwear all day unless it’s bed time or nap time and she’s been doing really well with it , definitely have to dedicate your time to just being in the house all day for a few days

@Tiyanna Harris currently doing this. She has been successful at times but other times she will sit on the potty, go a little. Then go fully on the floor somewhere a few minutes later lol😅

@Estef Cardona she’s 3

Hey momma 😁. My daughter just turned 4 and she is doing so well potty training. She become potty trained before her 4th b day. She does have issues going number 2 on the toilet because she gets very constipated but what worked for us was having her in training undies and I had her going potty every hour or so. She did have accidents but it's apart of the process. Good luck mama!

@Alyssa did she go to daycare during this process ?

@Asha hey love, so she did go to daycare for I'd say a month last year but i wasnt potty training. with my expierence in daycare tho they do help with potty training so if she is @daycare mama, definitely let them know what you've been implementing at home and bring her extra supplies even some pull ups if that's what you guys are using. I did feel my daughter was relying on the pull ups so I emphasizd them at night for a few days and eventually just kept her in her undies and would take her as soon as she woke up, having no accidents at night. The potty training for me was a little wacky. I was toward the end of my pregnancy and was working on her habits but as soon as I gave birth I did take a step back. When my son was 2ish months I was able to spend the time at home training. What I also did that she enjoyed was sing a nursry rhyme while washing her hands. She will get it down soon mama u got this!
