IVF with Irregular periods
Hello, so I have been told can start IVF in September. I wonder with irregular periods do I need to pay attention/prepare myself anything? Clinic only said to talk me through that in appointment at end of August.
I don't have PCOS but after miscarriage earlier this year my period has not been regular as it was. Last one didn't come or had only a little bleeding that I couldn't tell if it was period.
Any here with irregular periods got on to IVF could share? xx

I went on birth control for 3 weeks before retrieval and 3 weeks before transfer. To regulate cycle. Mine are pretty regular but I doubt irregular periods would be a problem for you!
My clinic makes me do birth control for a month prior to starting the fertility medication to make my cycle regular
Not an issue - they will put you on norethisterone to bring on your period when it suits them
I went on the contraceptive pill even though I have really regular periods. My clinic puts everyone on medicated cycles through pil programming to make sure the timings work out
