Nursery funding
So I can get the tax free and free hours for nursery. This month as I’ve lost my job i don’t know if I’ll have enough hours but I will next month? Will I lose all funding because of the one month of not matching the criteria? What do I do? Any advice? I’m really trying to sort it but struggling

I believe you have to be working and earn a minimum per week to qualify for the free hours but as the above poster said I would call HMRC as they will know for sure and can give you the correct advice x
@Yasmin you do. But it’s one pay day I’ll be missing I’m hoping and I’m already going too be so short on money that I need that funding to be able to work the following month 😭 I feel so trapped
I’m pretty sure the minimum amount is averaged out so if on average over the period you are earning at least that per week you’ll be fine

I would just phone HMRC, it might take a little while to get through as they’re very busy with questions about the new funding, but I’ve spoken to them several times and they’ve been really helpful.
