Time alone with birth dad

Right mummies, help a girl out my daughter is 2 months old. Now her dad is demanding to have her alone. I don’t feel comfortable in doing so. What is everyone’s views and opinions. With my other two children they were never away from me as babies.

In my opinion babies need to be with their mother at the end of the day you carried her for 9 months and will have major attatchment to each other im currently having problems with my babies father as he wants to have our son alone when hes here but i dont agree with it for many reasons one major one being that he was abusive to me and couldnt meet my basic needs therefore i dont trust him to meet the needs of a baby who cannot communicate whats wrong if you dont feel comfortable dont do it you and your baby are more important if he really wants to see her he wont mind u being there

I couldn't do it

No way he could come see her in the day I guess you wouldn't mind that, but 2 months is too young to spend a day without their mother.

This was my argument. Plus her dad is friends with a lot of people who take drugs. On that behave I don’t feel comfortable leaving her with her. I also explained to him we will range to meet up elsewhere and not in my home as before he’s refused to leave my house.

If he wasn't friends with the wrong crowd and was a good man and the only reason you'd split was you'd grown apart I'd be actively saying he needs time with baby and baby will be fine without you for a few hours but as he's in with the wrong crowd absolutely not he can have supervised contact at a place of your choosing

That’s what I said to him

Is he on the birth certificate? Of so then you can stop him from having his child. No matter how old. If he's in with the wrong crowd takes drugs etc id go get a court order to stop it thats the only way. If he's not on the birth certificate then you can do whatever you like

Yeah he is,
