Bit hopeless could use some good stories

We've been trying to conceive for almost a year and a half. I did private testing which was all good, and had investigations on the NHS which were all really positive. They pretty much won't help because we're both healthy. But every month feels like a dagger. Give me your positive stories to keep me going 🙏

Not me personally, but I had a friend trying for 3 years and now she’s almost 30 weeks! Did they at least give some advice?

With my first daughter it took us 4 years I had a miscarriage in 2016 then my daughter was born in 2020 she’s now 4 years old and we also have a 5 month old daughter 🙂

Long post but this was our experience... We found the NHS pretty useless initially we were told as we were under 30 at the time that we had to wait 2 years before they would do anything then they still were useless. We paid for private MOT that showed both healthy so it was just unexplained infertility and their recommendation was IVF. We took all this info back to pur GP and told them just to get on and do the request for funding. After they messed the request up 3 times it was finally sent in the July and the letter for referral came in Aug we booked for November as the earliest possible appointment. That was pointless as they made us drive to this clinic (hour and half away) expecting more tests but no they just read our notes and put the request in. Funding approval came through just before Christmas and we booked at a different clinic to for first consolation of the process mid of Jan plan to start my cycle in the February. We had to delay for other reasons but now have healthy 6m old! Just keep nagging!

This was us - healthy but unexplained. We decided to take control of the situation after trying for a year and went privately for ICSI/IVF. From deciding to do the ivf and getting my positive pregnancy test was 3mths! It worked first time we just needed a little help. If you have the money just do it. Currently pregnant with a second (again first time success and used an egg from my only single collection) There is an element of luck with ivf or course but if you are healthy you have a great chance. Have you been for a private fertility MOT?
