My dumbass didn’t even think about during nap times and such🫠 Following for advice also😂

I'm not in this stage yet, but my understanding is that not wetting the bed for naps and overnight comes with age and development. Holding fluids for 1-2 hours before bed/nap and not having them available during naps/overnight could help. Go to the bathroom right before laying down.

Stop giving liquids or fruits 2 to 3 hours before naps and 3 hours before bed but make sure u give them bananas though and u also wake them up in the middle of the night to go to the rest room for about 2 weeks and pray with them about it as well if they can talk ask them to repeat after you trust me it works I have 10 grand babies and I have 7 children 6 of them are adults trust me God is good be blessed ladies

That can't really be trained so you just have to wait for that. Especially at night! It's hormonal - not something they can control or learn.

It’s hormonal. But for night time we try not to have them gulping down water for about an hour before bed lol.

My son is turn 4 and start pre k next week and I’m concerned about nap time 😩

Does your son usually pee during nap time ? My daughter has been full trained except for bed time and just this week she is sleeping without pull ups. Try cutting out liquids before he sleeps and making him pee twice !

I had a friend who put a pee pad on her daughter's bed to go through this stage. They will adapt bc they don't want to wear wet clothes. Making them pee before bed is a big help. I do it twice.

You don't. They do it on their own... that is due to a hormone. Nothing you can do 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Tori sometimes… he’s fully trained also we just started going to bed without pull ups the first night he didn’t pee and every night since he has

A lot of parents use pull ups as the nighttime option until there’s a more solid understanding of the child knowing their own need to potty even when tired. Mostly that happens for convenience of not having to change the sheets every night but it can be a prolonged experience it really depends on the individual kid & family

My daughter has been dry from nap for about 3 months now. So I think she's ready to not wear one for nap but I hate washing sheets lol. She's only been dry from overnight like twice. If I try to wake her up she just screams at me and goes back to sleep and refuses to try. My MIL told me my husband wore overnight pull ups until he was about 7. He would sleep so hard that he wouldn't wake up when his body told him he had to pee so he would have accidents.
