HELP!! Daycare & potty training!

Does anyone have a successful potty training with her toddler while going to daycare? our daycare provider insists on putting pull ups on till fully trained But I feel that my daughter’s confused and sometimes she refuses sitting on potty! Can I ever potty train her while using pull ups or it’s impossible like it seems???

A method you can try is putting training underwear on before putting on a pull up! That’s how my mom transitioned me & my sister!

Yeah absolutely. My kids also had to be fully trained at home before sending them in undies. It's definitely possible. Just explain a lot. "We wear nappies at daycare and at night. When we are at home, we do our wees on the toilet". Lots of naked butt time.

My mother in law told me that pull ups confuses kids because it’s basically just a diaper with a different name I think they have potty training underwear

That does sound confusing. I think youd need something that doesn't feel like a nappy. I had some time off work and my girl was nude bum in the garden for a few days which helped. Do you have any time off coming up?

In the UK we call it nursery so if I call it that you’ll understand why. So my daughter is 2year old and she goes to nursery every day (half days 1pm-4pm) and she tells them when she needs to go to the potty
