You won't hit the threshold for tax on the amount of mat leave but you'll still pay a small amount of NI. you can also freeze your pension for that duration if you wish also.

Depends on your income. If you get any enhancements on SMP you will continue to pay everything but I. Lower amounts (I will continue paying tax and NI as I get paid extra on top of SMP from work)

I will have to yes as I get two lots of SMP from two jobs and occupational maternity pay which will put me over the threshold. So....it depends 😂

If you are paid above the monthly tax free amount then yes, I returned from mat leave in December, and I paid both NI and tax on my maternity pay for the ten months I was off x
